Spotswood Country Club offers the finest seasonal tennis courts, teaching staff and programs for all family members in the greater Shenandoah Valley region. Our Tennis Operation is led by John Raker, SCC Tennis Director and PTR Master Tennis Professional. John and his staff team (4 Instructors & 4 Junior Team Leaders) offer a variety of tennis programs and events on our 6 lighted courts (4 clay and 2 hard). During April 2008, all clay courts received a full court lift and laser grading to improve our court service to above specification thickness and back to original grade for improved drainage. All clay court work was done by HT Tennis (formerly Har-Tru Corporation).
Our Tennis Facility is open from April through October and features a national award winning junior program, adult programs, special events and full service tennis shop with equipment repair all managed by one of 22 PTR Master Tennis Professionals amongst a worldwide membership of 13,500.
