Junior Golf Program

Spotswood Country Club, and the entire golf staff, continues to strive to offer the best comprehensive Junior Golf Program available.  This year's junior golf line up-up will reflect our determination to introduce the game of golf to all members' children and grandchildren.  The junior golf program will consisit of day clinics and play days for juniors of and skill level.  Clinics will include group lessons on the fundamentals and rules of golf.  Please contact the professional staff to sign up for sessions.

Ladies Day

Ladies' day is every Tuesday for the 18 hole players and every Thursday for the 9 hole players beginning in April and ending in October.  The ladies have priority on the golf course both mornings between 8:00 am and 11:00 am.  The ladies' groups play a variety of formats during the course of the season.  Please contact the golf shop for more information or if you are interested in joining either of the Ladies' Associations .

Men's Golf Association (MGA)

The Men's Golf Association is open to any male golf member of Spotswood Country Club.  The events of the MGA are scheduled throughout the golf season and offers a variety of formats .   The MGA plays on Wedenesdays during the season at 5:30 pm.  The MGA asks that everyone participating in any MGA event please contact the golf shop prior to the date of play to sign up.  Anyone interested in Joining the MGA please contact Mr. Jeff Nemoytin, President of MGA, or the Golf Shop at 540-433-2659

The Gang

A long standing tradition here at the club is a group called " The Gang ".  A unique opportunity to play golf any day of the week without the hassle of finding a foursome.  The Gang plays Monday through Friday at 12:30 pm and Saturday morning at 10:00 am ( 8:00 am in the Summer months).  All play is based upon the players current handicap and players are paired by the golf shop staff.

Seniors Men's Team matches

Spotswood Coutry Club offers senior men 50+ and opportunity to compete against area seniors at other clubs.  All Senior Team Matches begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 am.  The format is four ball matches consisting of 12 two man teams from each club.  Full service lunch follows each home and away match with prizes.  Anyone interested in participitating please contact Mr. Ben Amoss, Senior Men's Chairman, or the golf shop staff for more information.
