The golf staff at Spotswood Country Club commits to providing the finest full service professional shop and golf services of any private club in the Shenandoah Valley. We strive to maintain and improve upon the high standards expected by our members. Our Goal is for each member and their guests to experience a warm welcome and consistent, professional service during each visit to Spotswood Country Club

Built in 1926, our golf course is both a challenge and a joy for all levels of play.  The rolling fairways and postage stamp greens demand accurate drives and precision iron play.   Recently, the course has been modified by golf architect Bill Love who has designed over 100 courses across the nation and currently serves as the Chairman of the American Society of Golf Course Architects Envirmental Committee.  The course has been host to the National Championship, many Pro-Am's, State Championship qualifiers and the annual Spotswood Junior Invitational which attracts the region's top junior golfers.

The practice range is conveniently located beside the first hole.  Long hitters do not need to worry about hitting through this range as it is over 250 yards in length.  Target pins are placed through out the range so you can work on perfecting those irons.  Need to work on your short game?  The practice green offers a chance to blast out of the sand or stroke side hill and flat putts similar to the ones you will face on the course.
